love(poem)

you know how it wills
as if we overtook thought,
altered its insome feel
'til we'd dance as that
while oneness rose to turn
us beside the other in
balanced forever motion
with our innocence in smiles
moved as one step along

your there now becomes
where else should have been
as undetermined as before
(light shifts, shadows break,
your face appears, words mingle,
sense is sought, we're among
what falls away, or begins)
as determined as will
be for what let us part
and calls us together again

  1. This is a powerful yet soft poem RQ.
I felt as if I were reading something by E E Cummings.
